Art Materials

We stock a comprehensive range of art materials including various brands of pastels, Winsor & Newton and Art Spectrum oil and watercolour paints plus Matisse acrylic paints and Pebeo Gouache. Brushes range from Sable, Mop, Hog bristle and Hake to Synthetic Sable and Taklon and are available in a choice of sizes.

Pastels brands carried cater for both artist and art student needs and include Schmincke (including metallic Silver and Gold pastels), Rembrandt, Art Spectrum, Micador soft pastels, along with a variety of pastel pencils sold in single colours. Natural and compressed charcoal sticks are stocked as well as the new liquid charcoal in various shades.

Derwent pencils in Watercolour, Inktense, and Pastel sets along with textured drawing and cartridge papers are available. Pastel pads of assorted colours are stocked in different sizes. An excellent range of Arches and Saunders watercolour paper are sold per sheet along with over 30 colours of Canson Mi Teintes Pastel paper. Colourfix and Mi Tex papers have a sandpaper type coating and provide excellent tooth for pastel work. Both are available in a range of colours.

Stretched canvas is stocked in sizes up to 48" x 60" as well as as quality Fredrix canvas panels in a range of sizes. Both wooden and light aluminium easels are part of the range we carry.
